About Me
I live in a small town in South Dakota. I am married to a wonderful man, and I have two entertaining step-kids, an Australian Shepherd that spends most of her time sleeping, and fish...three very silly goldfish.
I have been attracted to many different forms of art for as long as I can remember. I love drawing and painting, in all types of media. I recently taught myself how to knit...good thing I have a good teacher *lol*. It proceeded into making felted bags, which is what I do when I'm not making beads.
Glass...what an incredible medium! Using fire to melt glass is such an amazing experience. I recommend trying it to everyone. It is so much fun to watch it change and to be able to shape it. The first time I tried it I knew I was lost. I started working with beads, and it just morphed into making my own. I have been lampworking since 2001.
I hope everyone finds the one thing that makes them completely happy. There are a lot of lampworkers out there, and every one is unique! I am so lucky to call several of them friends.
